A Day In The Life…

I had a note in my diary that Saturday the 27th September was this month’s A Day In The Life Link Update so here’s my Saturday!

I honestly can’t remember what time we got up but I’m pretty sure Little Miss was awake at 7am so I brought her through to our bed for a snuggle. Sleepy snuggles on Saturday mornings are the best!

We went to see hubby’s Nain. I hadn’t seen her for a while. She’s now 95 and is doing well all things considered. She’s becoming rather doddery though – keeps starting a story then switching to another in the middle. She sang Old McDonald to Little Miss over and over. Little Miss was a bit bemused!o

Afterwards we decided to go out for lump to what used to be the old Ship pub in Llandrillo. Hubby had heard that it’s been turned into a steakhouse and some of his workmates had said it was great. And it was! It’s now a Hickory’s Smokehouse. It was pure heaven! Little Miss sat with us and was as good as gold eating her food and some popcorn.

We then went into Llandudno so hubby could visit his games shop to buy more Warhammer crap. We went into the chocolate shop next door – I think it’s called Maisie’s. We bought around 6 pieces of chocolates each to have with tea later.

We walked down to the out of town shops and found another Mr Bwns but decided not to buy it since it wasn’t the same colour. We’ve decided to order an identical one off the Internet instead.

After we got home had the chocolates and tea. The rest of the evening was spent doing the usual…. Food, bath for Little Miss, bed for her and then just a bit of relaxing. I managed to play a bit of Sims 3 for the first time in ages! There’s been a lot of talk recently about the new Sims 4 game which I really want but our computer is too slow!

So that was A Day In The Life for September! How was your saturday?
