Hair and Birthdays!

As I mentioned in my previous post, my hubby and best friend had booked me in to have my hair done today at the local Regis salon. I’d never been there before but I had a nice young stylist called Dean take care of me.

Dean asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and I said I wasn’t fussed – all I want is that it looks like it’s been done and that I keep the length. I said that I want the colours to be quite natural – no pink etc as I’ve already done that! I showed him my pink hair and he was quite impressed! He said that I am a hairdressers dream client!!
He went through colours and decided to do this that and the other – sounded good to me so I said for him to carry on! This is what I ended up with and I love it!

(Not the best photo but you can see the colours).

It cost quite a bit (£109!!) but it was a birthday treat, and I only get my hair done once in a blue moon – ok so maybe once a year. Still feel a bit guilty as we don’t have money to spend rally what with me being on carport maternity pay. But I’m sure we’ll survive. So long as mortgage is paid and Little Miss is fed and clothed then I’m happy.

I also forgot to mention in my previous post that 3 members of the family are having their birthdays this week!! Both pups were celebrating their 4th birthdays this week. Gemma in the 28th and Megs today 1st Feb. Poor things haven’t been getting much attention these past 3 weeks but we’re increasing their time in the front room with Little Miss gradually. They seem to be coping well fair play.

Totally loving the color of your hair (and jealous you could pull off pink hair!) Time flies, doesn’t it? We celebrate our dogs birthday too…they’re part of the family. I’m glad all 3 of you had wonderful birthdays 🙂

Thanks! I really loved the pink hair! I was tempted to go pink again but thought maybe my little baby wouldn’t like having a mummy with bright pink hair!

Nothing wrong with a mom having pink hair – I think it just says “wow, she is so cool”….but I love everything pink 🙂
