HomeStyling – Little Miss’ Bedroom

Little Miss' Bedroom

It’s been over a year since we prepared Little Miss’ bedroom and I can’t believe I haven’t shared the “makeover” on the blog! So today I bring you Little Miss’ Bedroom!

Previously it was used as a spare room. It had an IKEA Malm Bed and Dresser in there. The carpet and walls were green as it was leftovers from the previous owners.

Kritter Bed

We got rid of the bed and repainted the walls – just to freshen it up really so the green is pretty much the same green. We’ve kept the carpet as it was in pretty good condition – until hubby spilt paint on it! But thankfully it was green paint and so you can’t tell!

IKEA Furniture

After we got rid of he Malm Bed and Dresser and replaced them with the IKEA Kritter bed. Also in the room is a whole lot of STUVA storage including the desk, wardrobe and bookshelf.

Also from IKEA is this wonderful toy storage. I love them! Unfortunately I can’t hang it from the ceiling so it’s behind the door. Also from this photo you can see part of the farmyard murual we have on the wall. How cool is it?

Bedding

For the bedding we wanted to keep the farmyard theme. You can buy this Apple Tree farm bedding from Childrens-Rooms.co.uk. You can also find matching curtains (See the photo of the wardrobe above).

I just love her bookcase! Especially when it’s all tidy like this…. and of course we have to have some Peppa, Frozen and Paw Patrol by her bed!

  1. I love the farmyard bedding! I am in the middle of our nursery now – it is taking a while but I am happy with it so far. It is going to be quite neutral so that it can grow with her!

  2. Aw, that mural is so cute! I love the Kritter bed too. 😀

  5. what a lovely colourful girls bedroom x

  6. I would have loved a room like that as a kid! I like how its clearly a kids room but kind of has a really clean ‘adult’ feel to it. Also, that mural is what dreams are made of! It awesome.
