Our House – #30BBDaysOfGratitude

30 Days of Gratitude

Aurélie from Bump And Blush is hosting a 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge for September! And I’m joining in! If you haven’t seen if the I would suggest you check out Aurélie’s post. As an overview, you write down (or blog) about certain things your grateful for. Aurélie has set a different theme for everyday of this coming month.

Day 1 – Our House

Day 1 of the challenge is to be grateful for your house.

I am so grateful for our house. As much as I would like to change various things – such as a new bathroom, replace the kitchen, and doing a loft conversion, I am very grateful that I have a house at all. I know that there are so many people who don’t have a house.

Our house may not always be tidy but when you have kiddiwinks there isn’t much you can do about the mess! I still think we should get a cleaner though.

Above I have shared a photo of our living room. It’s a big living room especially now that the DVD cabinets are in the spare room. I love the colours – lime green is always a favourite! The windows are nice and big and bring in a lot of light. I do believe the corner sofa is a bit too big! I would love a new sofa but we won’t be replacing this one for a few years yet. Not until the girls have finished writing all over it at least!

Now if you want to find out more about the #30BBDaysOfGratitude then check out this post….

Your house looks lovely! I’m sure it’s hard managing things when you have kids but it looks clean anyway. It’s always a good feeling to be able to decorate your home the way you want it! Lovely post! Will you be posting every day this month for the gratitude challenge?

It seems like a great idea. We get caught up in problems that we sometimes forget how nice our life is. Good luck with the challenge. xx

What a fun idea! I wish I had heard about it sooner, I always hate joining in with these things even just a couple days in. Your lounge is so pretty – I love the rug!
