Random Thoughts

I haven’t got a topic for today’s post and I didn’t want to do another “a day in the life of” style post (because why would you want the details of my day of feeding, burping and nappy changing) so I gathered some of my random thoughts instead.

Why is it that when I do the washing, I can never find a matching pair of hubby’s socks? I always find odd socks. I know he’s colour blind but honestly! I wonder if it has something to do with our resident sock thief aka Megs! She likes stealing socks and the eat them! Although occasionally she does help out by finding socks that have fallen down the back of the sofa!! Although when she does find one you have to run after her to get it back! Hey it’s exercise for me and fun for her!

I have an iPad on contract with Vodafone. It’s coming to an end in April and I can’t wait to tell them where to stick their contract! I’ve been paying £31.99 month which included the device and 2GB of data usage. Of course you need 3G for data but what Vodafone failed to tell me at the time is that they don’t have 3G in my area!!! I don’t think I’ve used 2GB of data in the whole 2 years I’ve been with them! So come April I’ll be switching from Vodafone to EE (who have 3G coverage here AND are cheaper!)

(Not linking to Vodafone because I’m not promoting them so there!)

EE & Apollo 13
Everytime I think of EE I think of Apollo 13! It’s because Kevin Bacon advertises EE here in the UK and when I think of him it’s always Apollo 13 that’s the first film that comes to mind.

Baby Shoes
Is there anything cuter than baby shoes? They’re just so tiny!! These booties were given to us by one of my bosses.

haha I’ve been feeling overly random lately also, and sometimes they make for interesting posts 🙂 Baby shoes are seriously beyond adorable, I swear kids these days dress more fashionably than I do!

I think a magician created the washing machine, while I usually lose socks, I haven’t had odd socks show up! (I heard the lint from the dryer are the remains from missing socks lol)

Oh kids are way more fashionable than me! I can’t wait until comfy jeans and my Mark Webber hoodie is considered fashionable!

Lol at your lint comment – I’ll believe that! If you want socks to show up I can send Megs over to go hunting!

Haha well when Leggings and the Univ. of Maryland t-shirts become fashionable I will be WAY ahead of the game 😉

Haha tell Megs to hurry over, I’m missing my favorite neon green (hold the judgement) sock. Such a tragedy

I’ll send Megs over ASAP but be warned she is covered in mud as she’s just been digging up the garden!

Aaah, what is it with men’s socks?! My boyfriend has loads of almost identical pairs, so I spend ages looking for the subtle differences and trying to match them up. Grr!

Annoying isn’t it? But what annoys me more is that even when I manage to pair them back up they still end up being odd socks in the wash!
