Ready for Next Month

It’s official, I’ve had enough of September!! Between weddings, funerals and birthdays I’m feeling stressed! I’ve had 2 weddings, my Nain K’s funeral yesterday and so far 2 kids birthdays and with another 2 family birthdays coming in the next two weeks!

Yeah so as I mentioned in my previous post my Nain K died last week. The funeral was yesterday. I didn’t do much with Nain K whilst she was alive – it’s long and complicated story which I really don’t want to get into. I was sat in the church listening to the vicar ramble on. Afterwards I was asking Mam who carried the coffin in. She said to me that my hubby wasn’t allowed to carry it because Nain K didn’t know him and she wouldn’t have wanted a stranger to carry her. So I got angry. I decided that I wasn’t going to the graveside – I wasn’t in the mood for putting up with “family”. So I went home with my Little Miss instead. Spent time with my real family – my gorgeous husband whom I love so so much, my beautiful baby girl whom I love more than anything and our two cute but noisy pups!

Thinking of my gorgeous husband – it was our 2 year wedding anniversary on the 15th. I wasn’t feeling too well but we decided to go see Guardians of the Galaxy for the third time! We got each other a card and he bought me a DVD (Robin Williams’ “The Angriest Man In Brooklyn”). I bought him a box of marshmallows which he ate before we even got to the cinema!

Also on the 15th one of my work colleagues gave birth to a baby boy! I’m telling you, there’s something in the water at work!

Then my best friend’s daughter and her son both had birthdays within 9 days of each other (clearly not born the same year!) and next week my cousin (who got married two weeks ago) and my Nain have their 31st and 81st birthday on the same day!

On the whole September is a happy month of celebrations but I’m just so tired of everything. I’m looking forward to having some peace and quiet…. feeling rather over stretched at the moment.

So that’s what’s going on with me at the moment…. I’m joining up with The Lotus Creative’s Daily Diaries Link Up!

That’s the exact word I was looking for – overwhelming! And oh my word, dealing with our family is stressful! I know every family has issues but at the moment I can’t imagine anyone can be as bad as ours!

At least we have a holiday booked for next month but something tells me it’s going to be stressful travelling with a 9 month old baby!!

Lol yeah I thought you meant blog! And thank you for the compliment – always nice to receive! 🙂

A desk job is not for everyone. If you’re the creative type then I can imagine that accountancy is so boring! But I love my job! I have an awesome time at work! 🙂 I did have to do exams – had to do the Chartered Accountant exams – probably same ones as your cousin! Where did he study? Does he enjoy his job?
