I was recently contacted by Acdria Jewellery to review some of their beautiful items. To give you a brief background, Acdria is a family owned business started back in 2012. The initial item made was the stunning Tiger Butterfly brooch. Not only is Acdria based here in the UK, but most of the materials are locally and ethically sourced.
Acdria Poppy Brooch
After browsing the extensive range (more below), I decided upon the Poppy brooch. Every year I donate money to the Royal British Legion but I’ve given up trying to wear a poppy as I just couldn’t get the paper ones to stay on any clothing. I’ve been after a nice longlasting poppy brooch for a while and I was so pleased to see that Acdria had the perfect thing for me.
The lovely people of Acdria not only sent me the little poppy brooch but also the big brooch! A perfect his and hers combination for the husband and I. The brooches arrived in lovely little branded boxes – all made using recycled paper or cardboard certified by the FSC.
The brooch itself is made from a see-through resin and the attention to detail is amazing! You can see all the little lines through the petals which just adds to it’s authenticity. Even though the brooch is see through the colours are so bright.
Nature Inspired Jewellery
Acdria have a great range of nature inspired jewellery from butterflies and flowers to leafs and spiders. There’s so much to choose from! The biggest collection they have is their butterfly collection – so many to choose from! A personal favourite of mine is the Common Blue butterfly necklace. My Mam really likes the spider necklace as does one of my work colleagues. If you’re looking for some Christmas gifts then I’m certain you’ll find something suitable here.
What is your favourite Acdria design?
(I was sent these brooches in return for this post. All opinions are my own)
Swit Swuh! Check out them model poses! Great photo’s Bec and the Poppies look awesome too š
Ha thanks! We’ll never make it into Next Top Model but I’m actually pretty happy with the photos!
The poppies are lovely! Just what I was looking for. They have some really lovely items in there. Sure the girls would love some.
