I’ve decided to take part in Blogtober16 and day 1 is all about who am i? So, who am I?
So Who Am I?
Family
Well for those of you who have been here long I’m Rebecca and I’m a married mother of two girls under 3 years old. I live in Snowdonia North Wales with my husband, girls and two mucky pups.
North Welian
Got distracted in @waterstonesllandudno by this book. #welshslate
I was born and bred here in North Wales and I couldn’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be. I’m originally from a slate mining town so I have a mild obsession with Welsh slate.
Cymraeg?
Oh and I’m a Welsh speaker. It’s my first language and I’m proud to say that my girls will also be Welsh speakers.
Career
#30bbdaysofgratitude Day 6 – Inspiration – This is a very old piece of equipment but something else I attribute to my choosing a career in accountancy. This is Taid’s old adding machine. I remember him using it and me sitting on his knee in the “sbensh” helping him with his bookkeeping. #myinspiration #accountancy #tax
By day I’m an accountant and tax adviser. I work full time which obviously takes up a lot of my time but luckily, I love my job! I work with a great bunch if people and we have such a laugh – there is no truth in the image that accountants are boring! Well, we may be quirky but that works for me! 🙂
By night I’m Batman a blogger and here’s my little piece of the web. I blog about pretty much anything and everything that pops into my head!
Hobbies
I don’t have much time for hobbies what with working full time and being a mami to my two girls.
But when I do find a spare five minutes I like a bit of doodling, penpalling, cross stitching and gaming.
So that’s who I am! Tell me a little about yourself 🙂

Great introduction and so lovely to learn more about you x
Thank you!
Fab post, looking forwards to reading more Blogtober posts! Love that you’re bringing your daughters up to be first language Welsh too, we’re trying to do the same for Celyn!
I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m struggling a bit with the Welsh and the girls because hubby and I speak English to one and other. So my toddler is a rather Wenglish!!
Welcome to #Blogtober16 I adore Snowdonia, its always the children’s first choice when we ask where they would like to go on holiday, You must be very busy working full time, looking after the girls and blogging, I am super impressed that you have chosen to join in with this challenge, I can’t wait to hear lots more xxx
You’ll have to tell me more about your visits to Snowdonia! Love hearing about people enjoying the local area. I am a busy person but it’s all good 😀
“By night I’m Batman” that is so funny!! 😀
Did you not know?! 😉
Loving that old calculator, dust and all – it just wants to be played with! I love that you love your job – that is a rare thing for many people.
