Adventure tourism and getting outside is all the rage at the moment. Wales and North Wales specifically can’t be beat! What with all the wonderful mountains and lakes you have here. In an effort to make the most of it, one our recent outings was to Ropeworks Active in Llanberis.<\/p>\n

The Ropeworks Active headquarters is at Padarn Country Park in Llanberis. The most perfect location in my opinion – right next to the lake and next door to the Amgueddfa Lechi\/Slate Museum.<\/p>\n

    Not only that, they also offer group bookings, parties, an after school club and a holiday club.<\/p>\n

    Low Ropes Course<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    A few weeks ago on a beautiful Autumn day, we took the girls to Ropeworks Active to try it out. After getting strapped into the harnesses we were taken onto the Low Ropes Course. The brilliant instructor showed us how to use the course. All four of us went on it as the girls wouldn’t go on their own.<\/p>\n
