\"Six<\/p>\n

I can’t quite believe that 2019 has finished and that we’re into a new decade. I’ve seen so many people review their decade over on social media that I thought it would be nice to create a little blog post for mine. So let’s get stuck in as it’s been a BIG DECADE!<\/p>\n

2010<\/h3>\n

\"Megs<\/p>\n

The decade started with some BIG changes! I moved out of my childhood home and into our first home. The house was bought in 2009 and after working on it for around 6 months we finally got to move in in February 2010. With that came a lot of emotions for me as I also left Taid alone for the first time.<\/p>\n

With our first home came the pups. In April 2010 we picked up our Gemma and Megs<\/a>. However they weren’t the only additions to my family as my little brother was born a couple of months later as well.<\/p>\n

2011<\/h3>\n

\"Rebecca<\/p>\n

Another big year as we sold our first house and bought our forever home.<\/p>\n

Also attended our first ever Formula 1 race in Belgium<\/a>. But not only that I won tickets to the Red Bull Speed Jam in Cardiff and met Mark Webber!<\/p>\n

2012<\/h3>\n

\"On<\/p>\n

This year brought great joy and great sadness. We got married at Caer Rhun Hall<\/a> and it was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect and all the family was there including my wonderful Taid<\/a>. A couple of months later the saddest day of my life happened when that wonderful man passed away. Despite the fact that I had a new man now (my husband) Taid will always be my main man!<\/p>\n

2013<\/h3>\n

We didn’t waste anytime in expanding our little family. In 2013 I was pregnant with my eldest. In fact I was 3 months pregnant with her when I jumped the fence at the Canadian Grand Prix where we met a lot of the F1 drivers!<\/p>\n

Oh and that was a couple of days after I met Tom Hanks in New York. Yes I met THE Tom Hanks! Only briefly but still I met him!!<\/p>\n

The year should’ve ended with the arrival of our eldest was due 31 December 2013 but didn’t quite make it until…<\/p>\n

2014<\/h3>\n

\"ON<\/p>\n

… January 2014 when she was finally evicted! This is the one of the biggest things to happen to me. Who knew that before the end of 2014 I would be pregnant again with our littlest (we don’t waste time do we?!).<\/p>\n

2015<\/h3>\n

\"On<\/p>\n

A repeat of 2014 with the arrival of our littlest<\/a>. Same as her older sister, she came out “via the sunroof” (as my Dad calls it) as I had to have an emergency cesarean section due to complications during the birth.<\/p>\n

My husband got selected to be a participant in a Welsh TV show but it had to be filmed in Ireland….which led to the dumbest passport incident ever!<\/p>\n

2016<\/h3>\n

\"Red<\/p>\n

Highlight of this year came in the very first month. Not only did I receive a birthday video from Alan Fletcher (aka Karl Kennedy from Neighbours) but I also got to see an episode of Red Dwarf<\/a> being filmed.<\/p>\n

In February we were also one of the lucky few to see The Tenderloins<\/a> (aka Impractical Jokers) first UK show at the Manchester Academy. Fab seats and so worth waiting in the cold to meet Joe and Murr!<\/p>\n

A couple of months after my husband’s grandmother passed away being the second great loss in our family this decade. She had reached an incredible age of 96 and was a formidable woman!<\/p>\n

2017<\/h3>\n

\"Williams40<\/p>\n

Career wise 2017 saw me being made partner in the firm I’d been working in for 15 years.<\/p>\n

My mam won tickets to go to Silverstone to celebrate Williams 40 years in F1<\/a>. So I went with her. And while I was there I got to walk through the pit and see some of those famous cars spin around the track.<\/p>\n

That wasn’t the only motorsport event I attended – got to sample my first ever Wales Rally GB event! It was cold, it was wet but it was fun!<\/p>\n

2018<\/h3>\n

\"Josh<\/p>\n

We’re still not sure why we hadn’t heard about Machynlleth Comedy Festival<\/a> but I’m so glad we did! We had a great time and saw a lot of famous faces including Michael Sheen, Josh Widdicombe and Ed Gamble to name a few.<\/p>\n

2019<\/h3>\n

2019 was a busy and great year to finish the decade with.<\/p>\n
