Well hello to anyone who’s still visiting this little website of mine!

I’m sorry I’ve been AWOL since November 2025. I’ve been focusing more on video content and social media, which means the blog has been rather neglected.

Filming the Brienz Rothorn Bahn in Switzerland

So, a quick update on life. Since last November we’ve done some amazing things, including visiting Switzerland, which was a major bucket list item for me, and going on our very first Disney Cruise to Norway. Both holidays were absolutely fantastic and I’m hoping to write more about them soon. If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably already seen plenty of photos and videos.

Unfortunately, life hasn’t all been plain sailing… ha see what I did there?

Me filming during 2026’s Victorian Weekend on the Ffestiniog Railway in between chemo treatments

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m currently going through chemotherapy. To be completely honest, chemotherapy isn’t much fun, but the good news is that it’s working. My treatment is going well and everything is heading in the right direction, so I’m hopeful of making a full recovery next year. I just have to get through several months of rather rubbish treatment first!

Other than that, life carries on. Work, family, trains, holidays, dog walks, and making memories where we can.

Hopefully I’ll find the time and energy to dust off the blog a little more often over the coming months.
