So when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joules.com\/\">Joules<\/a> contacted me to review a pair of theirs I thought &#8220;fantastic&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies1a.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3866 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies1a.png\" alt=\"wellies1a\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies1a.png 600w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies1a-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies1a-300x300.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was sent a pair of these short wellies &#8211; I can&#8217;t wear long wellies thanks to my fat calves! So the short wellies were a superb choice. This pair &#8211; whilst given for free for the review &#8211; would have cost me \u00a336.95. They are of fantastic quality and are absolutely gorgeous! In fact when my aunt saw the parcel she instantly said that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joules.com\/\">Joules<\/a>\u00a0were a great company.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3869 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies2.png\" alt=\"wellies2\" width=\"610\" height=\"641\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies2.png 610w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies2-285x300.png 285w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thankfully Saturday was a gorgeous day, so in the afternoon we went for a walk so I could test the wellies in the countryside. We took a walk down to the local farm with the dogs and Little Miss.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3870 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies3.png\" alt=\"wellies3\" width=\"610\" height=\"660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies3.png 610w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies3-277x300.png 277w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They were lovely to look at and comfy underfoot. However it pains me to say it (because they are beautiful!) they did cause me blisters on the back of feet! I&#8217;m not sure if this was due to me not having worn flat shoes for a while or not. I&#8217;ve read other reviews online and no-one else seems to have had the same problem. They were completely waterproof and so my socks stayed dry. It was great squelching around in mud &#8211; like being a kid again! As someone pointed out in the reviews\u00a0you do need to make sure you don&#8217;t jump into deep puddles since these were short length wellies (longer lengths are available).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3872\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies6.png\" alt=\"wellies6\" width=\"610\" height=\"1110\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies6.png 610w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies6-165x300.png 165w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies6-563x1024.png 563w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3874\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies7.png\" alt=\"wellies7\" width=\"610\" height=\"872\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies7.png 610w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/wellies7-210x300.png 210w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I washed the wellies down following the instructions that came with them\u00a0and they were very easy to clean. My review of Wellies from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joules.com\">Joules.com<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; they have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joules.com\/Womens-Clothing\/Wellies-Wellibobs\">lots to choose from<\/a> so if you&#8217;re looking for a pair of wellies be sure to give them a go.<\/p>\n<p><em>(They also have a big range of other clothing &#8211; womens, mens and kids.
