I haven’t done an F1 post in quite a while! This is partly due to the fact that, if truth be told, I’ve slightly lost interest in the sport. I think it’s become rather boring this year. That’s not to mean I don’t follow it… I do but not quite as fanatical as I used to be. Anyhow!\u00a0I couldn’t let this week slip\u00a0past without commenting on the British GP.<\/p>\n

If truth be told I’ve found this years season to be boring! In fact I’m not the only one to have said this – seems to be the general consensus. The Sky Sports team were debating it and asking Bernie how the sport could be fixed.<\/p>\n

Now of course there was no way I could actually get to see the race ‘in real life’ this year (baby 2 due today!). I mean as much as I’d love to go I really didn’t want to risk giving birth at Silverstone or worse yet stuck in traffic on the way back! This being said, I couldn’t miss the British GP! Being a Brit (and therefore biased) I firmly believe this to be the highlight of the calendar – with possibly Monaco as a second.<\/p>\n

And I am so glad I did watch it live as I could still participate on\u00a0Twitter without finding out the result. It was a fantastic race! The race started off incredibly with Massa jetting the jump on Hamilton at the start. Also, Bottas also got the jump on Rosberg leading him to also passing Hamilton. So within a couple of corners it was a Williams 1-2 with both Mercs behind them.<\/p>\n
