It was being held in Cardiff which is a 4 hour drive for me but I was determined to make it to at least one event this year! I parked up at The Angel Hotel and went in to get changed. We were greeted by the lovely Ffion (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asouthwalesblog.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A South Wales Blog<\/a>) and posed for photos. There were a number of brands present including Helfa Ddillad, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Just_Cutsliam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Just Cuts<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PADDeco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PAD Deco<\/a> a <a href=\"http:\/\/welshgirlproblems.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Welsh Girl Problems<\/a>. Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t take many photos so don&#8217;t have any to share! Other brands had contributed to the goodie bag including <a href=\"http:\/\/beegood.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bee Good<\/a>, Praire Charms, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thescentcity.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scent City<\/a> and Beauty Crowd Cardiff. Hanne from Beauty Crowd Cardiff made an appearance and did a little presentation about what items were in the goodie bag. If truth be told she was speaking a language I did not understand (makeup!) but she was fun and engaging that it was quite enjoyable to listen to her. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4990\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1725.jpg\" alt=\"PartyAtTheAngel Cake\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1725.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1725-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1725-1024x512.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/> After that some of the brands left and we bloggers were left to mingle, eat canapes and drink some free prosecco (which of course I couldn&#8217;t so opted for the complimentary water instead). There was also some yummy cupcakes! VERY nice! Big thumbs up to whoever made those! There was a scrapbook and some creations were fantastic! I did get chatting to <a href=\"http:\/\/lottielately.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Charlotte<\/a> &amp; Beth (who has the best pink hair which I am super jealous of!)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4995\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1721.jpg\" alt=\"#PartyAtTheAngel selfies\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1721.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1721-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1721-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1721-1024x1024.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were a number of competitions including one for the best Tweet (which Leanne won and received some yummy chocolates), one for the outfit of the day and one for the best scrapbook drawing (which I still think Leanne should&#8217;ve won for her <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CorneliusBlog\/status\/643099685029285888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sperm balloon<\/a>!). There was also a Photo Booth&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5013\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1745.jpg\" alt=\"#PartyAtTheAngel PhotoBooth\" width=\"600\" height=\"801\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1745.jpg 899w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1745-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_1745-767x1024.jpg 767w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At around 5.45pm I left so I could start the long journey home. It took me 4 hours to get back so I was back around 10pm (after stopping for pancakes at Little Chef!). As you can see, it was a 357mile round trip but it was worth it to attend my first blogging event.
