Top of the list is of course the <a href=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/cy\/i-still-love-my-dogs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Machynlleth Comedy Festival<\/a>. We had such an awesome time this year that we will be going for the whole weekend. Due to the last minute booking for this year&#8217;s festival we didn&#8217;t have time to look for accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>So for 2019 I want to get ahead of the game and get somewhere booked! With that in mind I&#8217;ve been browsing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofwales.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Best Of Wales<\/a> for possible holiday lets. I&#8217;m thinking of going luxury next year rather than camping so my criteria are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>close to Machynlleth<\/li>\n<li>wi-fi (a MUST!)<\/li>\n<li>hot tub (preferable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Naturally all the properties are set in stunning locations &#8211; you can&#8217;t really go wrong around the Machynlleth in my opinion. There so many properties to choose from but after browsing, my top 3 choices (*) for next year are as follows&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofwales.co.uk\/north-wales-snowdonia-cottages\/dinas-mawddwy\/59005-troed-yr-aran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Troed Yr Aran<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9687\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jjklgu4j-1012583_59005-exterior.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jjklgu4j-1012583_59005-exterior.jpg 760w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/jjklgu4j-1012583_59005-exterior-300x197.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This beautiful cottage is a the foot of the Aran Fawddwy mountain near Dinas Mawddwy. It&#8217;s probably too big for our needs as it accommodates 6 people. However it does offer free wi-fi and a hot tub!<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofwales.co.uk\/north-wales-snowdonia-cottages\/aberdyfi\/414173-llidiart-y-llyn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Llidiart Y Llyn<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9689\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/b68seabb5-1065953_414173-exterior-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/b68seabb5-1065953_414173-exterior-2.jpg 760w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/b68seabb5-1065953_414173-exterior-2-300x197.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another beautiful cottage but this one is close to Aberdyfi so a bit closer to Machynlleth than Troed Yr Aran property. Again, a bit too big as it accommodates 6 people but if we can rope a few more friends to come along then it&#8217;d be perfect. Perhaps we could persuade grandparents to come along and make a mini-break for the whole family from it.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofwales.co.uk\/west-wales-cottages\/aberystwyth\/35095-lletyr-graig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Llety&#8217;r Graig<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9688\" src=\"http:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/j16su3f8-721434_156277464.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/j16su3f8-721434_156277464.jpg.jpg 760w, https:\/\/becster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/j16su3f8-721434_156277464.jpg-300x197.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This property is further South than Machynlleth but still within a decent travelling distance for the festival. Another property which accommodates 6 people but oh my word the views are stunning! As I said, you can&#8217;t fault the Machynlleth and Dyfi Estuary for scenery!<\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;ve only mentioned three holiday cottages but there are so many great places you could choose.
