I’ve had this post in drafts since last year but finally Blogtober16 has made me publish it! So here is my list of:

Dogs

Well of course dogs have to top the list! We have two (Megs & Gemma) and I will admit that they do not get the attention they deserve at the moment.

Giraffes

I don’t know why but I’ve always loved giraffes – maybe it’s the dream of being tall? They just look so majestic in my opinion. They were always my exotic animal of choice.

I was lucky enough to get to feed some out in Florida – that’s the photo above.

Meerkats

I’ve loved these cheeky little creatures well before Alexsandr made an appearance on the CompareTheMeerkat adverts! No my love for them started way back when I happened to catch Meerkat Manor on a rainy Sunday afternoon. If you’ve not seen it then you don’t know what you’re missing!

Squirrels

I know that I should be saying red squirrel since the grey squirrel is a villain but if truth be told, I’m. Lt fussed. Of purse the gret is much more common but they’re still cute!

But what I love about them is their agility. We currently have one running along our bck fence. It’s fascinating to watch. He’ll run and jump and all of a sudden will dip to the other side of the fence so all I can see is his tail. I wish I could get a photo it video. Although he has nothing on the Carling squirrel!
