WOW, these are breathtaking! I would love to visit a Castle in person, but until I do these pictures are doing justice 🙂
Is it still being used or is it abandoned (I’ve never understood abandoning a Castle, they’re so gorgeous!)
It’s now a visitor centre. This castle was one of Edward’s castles after he conquered Wales and this one in particular was his HQ if I remember correctly. It’s where Prince Charles was crowned Prince of Wales I know that for a fact! I really need to visit the castle visitor centre again. In fact we want to try to visit all of them – Harlech, Criccieth, Conwy, Beaumaris and Caernarfon. It’ll be something to do this summer!
