9 Goals for 2019

My goals for 2019 including rollerblading, Bounce Below, Machynlleth Comedy Festival amongst other things.

As it’s now over halfway through January it’s about time I note down my goals for 2019!

1) Go on at Least One Staycation

Windermere

The in laws have a lodge in the Lake District and we don’t use it often enough! Last time I was up there, I only had one child and my littlest is 4 this summer! So I’m hoping for a few mini breaks up there this year.

Also I want to visit Doncaster and meet up with David and Donetta again. Will need to do this twice so I can meet new Baby Shaul!

2) Improve Fitness and Eat Healthy

I know this is one of those “new year, new me” type of goals but I do want to improve my fitness and eat healthier. I’m hoping to cut out a lot of chocolate/sweets/treats by substituting them for fruit instead.

As for fitness, I’m doing some small exercises at night with the intention of strengthening my legs so to help me with my next goal.

3) Go Rollerblading at Least Once a Month

Rollerblades

I want to use my rollerblades more! So I’m hoping improving my fitness means I can rollerblade easier. Plus it’ll be fun! My main problem is that I don’t know where to go really.

4) Lose Weight

Another “new year, new me” goal yes but I do want to lose a bit of weight. Not trying to be stuck thin but I want to lose a little just so I feel better in clothes. I used to be a size 8 in my early 20s and I’ve gradually grown to be a size 14 to 16. Also I’m going to be a bridesmaid at my friend’s wedding in October and I just want to fit nicely into a dress!

5) Machynlleth Comedy Festival

We had such a great time at last year’s festival that we hope to go again this year. The acts are currently being announced and already there are two or three shows that I want to see – Kerry Pritchard-McLean and WiFi Wars. Unfortunately Josh Widdicombe is already sold out!

6) BlogOn

BlogOn Xmas

I’m likely to miss May as it’s the same weekend as Machynlleth however I’ll catch the Christmas one in September hopefully. I’m actually quite gutted to miss May as there are some awesome YouTube sessions going on including editing with Alex Wing.

7) Post Weekly YouTube

Speaking of YouTube, I hope to post weekly on YT. My videos aren’t long so it shouldn’t be a problem. Plus it’ll give me a kick to go on mini adventures! Which leads me into the next one…

8) Go Glamping

Glamping is getting increasingly popular with glamping pods popping up everywhere. I’ve only ever been camping once (that I can remember) and that was on top of a mountain… it’s a long story! The husband isn’t too keen on camping so I’m hoping to persuade him to go glamping instead! And I have found the perfect place… Llechwedd Slate Caverns!

9) More Mini Adventures

There’s so many things right here on my doorstep and I vow to have more mini adventures this year!

What are your goals for 2019?
