Yesterday was the Grand Opening of a new shop in Pwllheli. A lovely little flower shop called Bloda Eluned. I may have actually mentioned their other shop previously – it’s a beautiful little gift shop which also sweets which is why I’m a frequent visitor. Anytime I need a gift that’s my first port of call.
Anyway! Today I wanted to share some photos of the grand opening of Bloda Eluned with you!
There was cake and crisps and drinks, and you know that free cake* is always good! But, even without free cake it’s well worth a visit for all the beautiful flowers! (*from Hayley’s Piped Dreams – mmmm!)
And there’s more than just beautiful flowers there’s also lot of lovely decor dotted all around like the amazing bike I posted on Instagram last week.
I adore it when shops have cute decorations like this! Can’t wait for the grand opening next week! #blodaeluned #siopeluned #flowers #bike
Or the beautiful dresser with the daisy handles.
Although I can see my favourite spot in the shop would be this little nook with the amazing flower wallpaper. Who wouldn’t want to sit here browsing through wedding magazines looking for inspiration?
That’s the other thing I should tell you, is that they do some beautiful wedding flowers and also this cart which for weddings is filled with sweeties (but yesterday it had cake, biccies and crisps). Also for weddings they can rent out the cute little white postbox (shown below).
Their website is currently being re-done so I’ll direct you to have a look at the Facebook page for the gift shop instead. Trust me, if you’re ever in Pwllheli or planning a wedding in North Wales, be sure to contact Bloda Eluned – you won’t be disappointed.
Pob lwc i chi!
It looks like a lovely gift shop. I love them too. I’ve been last month in north Wales and now I discovered many more places to go to. I want another holiday in Wales.
It is such a lovely shop and the owners are wonderful. If you come back this way I would definitely recommend a day trip to Pwllheli and visit this shop (and the other gift shop they have) x
Oh, it’s so cute!! I love the bright flowery wallpaper.
What a gorgeous shop. I would live there! That blue floral wallpaper is stunning as well.
Never been to Pwllheli! Now it’s on my list and I will probably visit the shop as well!
The shop and its products look delightful. I love the sweet cart, this is such a nice touch for Weddings these days. I made my own sweets and things to put on my sweet trolley, and it looked fab. I hope the shop will be a big success, it certainly looks great.
