January is not usually a popular month – the lull after Christmas, the thought of having to pay off those credit cards that you maxed out for Christmas or in the sales, the dreary weather! Ugh I could go on but for me it’s a great month and here’s why:
1) New Beginnings
January always brings a New Year with it and the chance for new beginnings. I know I’ll be doing resolutions (which I probably won’t keep but I’ll do them anyway).
2) Little Miss’ Birthday
My girl will be 2 in a week! Can’t believe how fast time is flying by! She’s growing up too fast! Last year we had a party at our house with a great cake featuring Mr Bwns. This year we’re hoping to go to Glasfryn soft play.
3) My Birthday
Yup my birthday also in January so that’s always good!
4) Work
It’s self assessment tax return deadline on the 31st Jan so work is usually busy in January. I thrive in the busy periods so love it!
5) Red Dwarf
This is a special one for this year – we have audience tickets for Red Dwarf!! Can’t wait!!
There’s usually so much negativity about January, so your post was refreshing! Let’s make this January a positive one, shall we?
I hope you and your girl have a wonderful birthday x

My sister, dad and grandma all have January birthdays. Seems like it’s a popular month 🙂
It’s your birthday and the little one turns 2, how cute!
Aww happy birthday to you and your little one! I think I feel overall indifferent to January, not a big lover, not a hater either.

Happy new year and happy birthday for the month! Tania xx taniamichele.blogspot.co.uk
That’s kind of why I posted this. Everyone keeps being so down on January (poor January!) that I wanted to give January a boost! 🙂 Thank you for the birthday wishes x
Haha it is a popular month! One of the dogs is on the 28th as well! x
Yes and one of the dogs turns 6 on Jan 28th! x
Thanks for the birthday wishes! 😀
Thank you very much! x
