So on New Years Eve I had booked myself in to Cariad At Wallt salon in Pwllheli to have a colouring.
I hadn’t coloured my hair since January 2014 so decided I was going to do something different. I was extremely bored of my boring “dirty blonde” (trust me, not as sexy as it sounds!).
Here’s the before picture
I turned up at the salon at 9am and had a nice welcome from the girls that work there. They got started straight away. Because I was going blonde I had to have a full head of foils.
Some very “glamorous” during photos!! I can’t take good selfies!
After hours of sitting there in the foils (doing my hair is no quick job – I have a lot of it!) my hair was washed and the second colou wS put in. Yup I put pink in it!! Told you I wanted something drastic!
How beautiful does it look?! It’s not the hot pink I used to have and it’s not permanent. It’ll start fading in about 2 weeks but will blend in more naturally thereafter.
(Can’t really do the hot pink anymore – have to keep a degree of professionalism what with work and all!)

Your hairs looking fantastic! I love having a pop of colour in my hair. I sometimes dye it bright red (natural ginger) and have black in my underlayer. It’s crazy how a bit of hairdye can make your day 🙂
Wow, it looks amazing, I love the pink ends!! I was cracking up at your selfies, you look more and more bored as the time went by. I get my hair coloured too so I know the feeling!

Thank you! I’m so pleased with it and I’m so glad I did it! The pink has faded quite a bit by now but the blonde is still there! Glad you liked the selfies!! 😉 I don’t take good ones!!

Thank you! I also loved the pink ends. It’s not permanent and has faded in quite nicely noe. I hadn’t realised that my level of boredom showed in the photos!! It takes such a long time! I spent it well – did some blogging but unfortunately my phone’s battery died on me and so it didn’t save!! 🙁
Thank you! I wanted something that looks professional from the front, but that I know I have something cheeky underneath! 🙂 I used to have a black underlayer and hot pink all over. Loved it but can;t get away with it now!
